Found photographs in Glasgow of women in the nineteen twenties in a second hand shop called Relics. I brought the negatives  in to the dark room and cut out the outline of her face with paper. I used a dodging and burning technique where her face was the only part showing on the photo paper. I would move the paper around the light being shown. I superimposed it over photos that represented her grave and friends in my eyes until she disappeared completely.
